At Centreville Bank, we want to be part of young people’s future success. That’s why we empower local students on their academic journey by offering a diverse post-secondary scholarship program.

The scholarship application window is open February 9th, 2024 through April 12th, 2024. 

Requirements:
•    Awarded students must be graduating high school seniors 
•    Students must be graduating from a high school located in Rhode Island, or towns located in Windham County or New London County, Connecticut
•    Students must be accepted to a college, university or trade school for Fall semester

The Robert O. Pare College Scholarship

The Robert O. Pare scholarship is presented to local high school students who are dedicated to making a difference through community service in honor of Mr. Pare's 55 years of support to Centreville Bank. Mr. Pare served the bank admirably, in a manner which has been honorable, forthright, and beneficial to the banks success. 

 The Robert O. Pare scholarship is open to local high school students who are dedicated to making a difference through community service. Each year, three (3) recipients are rewarded individually a $5,000 scholarship. 


Future Business Leaders College Scholarship

The Future Business Leaders Scholarship is presented to local high school students who demonstrate an entrepreneurial spirit, matching Centreville Banks dedication to foster economic empowerment for the next generation. We recognize that students desire to own a business is more than just an idea; it’s the future of the community. 

The Future Business Leaders Scholarship is presented to local high school students who aspire to become impactful leaders and can present a business plan for their idea. Each year, three (3) recipients are awarded individually a $5,000 scholarship.


Emerging Community Leaders College Scholarship 

The Emerging Community Leaders College Scholarship is awarded to a student who has been nominated for embodying Centreville’s mission to uplift and support all members of the community.
 
Students may be nominated for their leadership, advocacy, volunteer service, or other related activities that demonstrate their passion for helping others. This scholarship recognizes students that have overcome adversity, or championed initiatives that cultivate their generation with the skills to tackle global challenges, fostering a more equitable and prosperous future. Nominations may be submitted by peers, teachers, guidance counselors, mentors, or any other non-familial relationship.
