Scholarship Programs

Helping to make college dreams a reality for high school students in our community.

At Centreville Bank, we want to be part of young people’s future success. That’s why we empower local students on their academic journey by offering a diverse post-secondary scholarship program.

Scholarship applications are considered annually from February through April. Awards are announced in June.

Requirements:

  • Awarded students must be graduating high school seniors

  • Students must be graduating from a high school located in Rhode Island, or towns located in Windham County or New London County, Connecticut

  • Students must be accepted to a college, university or trade school for Fall semester

The Robert O. Pare College Scholarship

Created in honor of Mr. Pare’s 55 years of service to Centreville Bank, this scholarship recognizes local high school students who are committed to making a positive difference through community service. Mr. Pare’s dedication, integrity, and leadership left a lasting impact on the Bank and the communities it serves.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to serving others and creating meaningful change in their community. Each year, three (3) students are selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their continued education.

Future Business Leaders College Scholarship

The Future Business Leaders Scholarship recognizes local high school students with an entrepreneurial spirit and a vision for the future. It reflects Centreville Bank’s commitment to fostering financial literacy, supporting the next generation of leaders, and strengthening our local economy.

Applicants should aspire to become business leaders and present a business idea supported by financial literacy and thoughtful planning. Each year, three (3) students are selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their continued education.

Emerging Community Leaders College Scholarship

The Emerging Community Leaders Scholarship recognizes local high school students who demonstrate leadership, advocacy, volunteerism, or a passion for helping others. It celebrates young people who are making a meaningful difference and inspiring positive change in their communities. 

Students must be nominated by a peer, teacher, guidance counselor, mentor, or other non-family member who can speak to their impact. Each year, three (3) students are selected to receive a $5,000 scholarship to support their continued education.
