Joshua “Josh” Varone serves as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer of Centreville Bank, where he leads all aspects of human capital strategy, talent management, and organizational culture. Josh oversees recruiting, leadership development, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee engagement programs designed to foster a workplace rooted in collaboration, inclusivity, and professional growth.

A champion of people-first leadership, Josh works closely with the executive team to align HR strategy with the bank’s business goals, ensuring that Centreville remains an employer of choice. He has played a key role in shaping the organization’s culture of empowerment and innovation, helping the bank earn recognition among the nation’s best places to work.

In addition to his role at Centreville, Josh is deeply committed to professional and community service. He currently serves as Vice President of the Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), one of the largest HR organizations in New England, where he contributes to advancing HR excellence and leadership development across the region. Josh is also a Board Member for Special Olympics Rhode Island, supporting inclusive sports and community programs for individuals with intellectual disabilities. His work reflects his belief in the power of inclusion—both within the workplace and throughout the broader community.
