Brian Carillon Promoted to VP, Head of Consumer and Business Banking

Centreville Bank President, CEO and Chairman of the Board Harold M. Horvat today announced that Brian Carillon has been promoted to Vice President, Head of Consumer and Business Banking.

In his new role, Carillon is responsible for overseeing the Centreville Bank branch network throughout Rhode  Island and Connecticut, with a primary focus on branch performance. In terms of the consumer side, these areas include deepening of client relationships, ensuring operational stability, and enhancing associate engagement as well as the overall customer experience. As for the business banking side, Carillon is responsible for growing the bank’s municipality and cash management portfolio. He will manage a team of four including two district executives and two business development specialists.

Carillon has some 20 years’ retail banking experience with large financial institutions throughout Connecticut and Massachusetts. Most recently, he was Vice President, District Manager for Centreville Bank.

“Brian came to us a just over a year ago with a wealth of knowledge and an impressive retail banking background,” said Horvat. “His experience working for large financial institutions, developing staff and managing multi-site districts continues to benefit our entire organization, particularly as we continue to expand the bank’s footprint.”

Carillon earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Westfield State University, Westfield, MA.

He is an active member and former board member of Junior Achievement of Southwest New England, Inc. Hartford, CT, where he is involved with various financial literacy programs. Carillon also volunteers his time with the Granby Athletic Association, coaching and teaching youth athletics throughout Western Massachusetts. He currently resides in Granby, MA.
