04.29.20: Customer Financial Relief Extension

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 Pandemic, we have extended the dates of the following customer financial relief measures.

Personal & Business Deposit Accounts

  • Fee waivers will be in effect for checking and savings accounts through June 30, 2020. 
    Fees waived include the following:
    • Overdraft Fees (Insufficient Funds Charge and Unavailable Funds Charge)
    • Overdraft Protection Transfer Fees from loans (Line of Credit)
    • Centreville Bank Foreign ATM Charges 
    • Overdraft Protection Transfer Fees from deposit accounts
    • Monthly Maintenance Service Charge for checking and savings accounts
    • Return Deposited Item Fees
       
  • Early Withdrawal Penalties on Personal Certificates of Deposit will be waived through June 30, 2020. Applies to aggregate withdrawals up to $25,000 only.
     
  • Debit Card Limits will be temporarily increased through June 30, 2020. Temporary daily limits for Debit/POS transactions will be $3,000 for consumers and $5,000 for businesses.

04.07.20: Important Notice About Branch Lobbies

As the current pandemic continues to disrupt daily life for us all, please be assured that Centreville Bank is open, and will remain open, to provide you access to your accounts and the service and support you need during these difficult times.

While we will always be committed to our role as your community bank, we are equally committed to the safety and well-being of our customers and employees. With this in mind, we will be making the following adjustments to further limit exposure to all:
 

Effective Wednesday, April 8th

  • All branch lobbies, including West Warwick, Coventry and East Greenwich will begin conducting transactions, when necessary, by appointment only. If your transaction cannot be completed at the drive-up lane or at an ITM, you can call the branch to schedule an appointment:

  • All drive-up lanes will continue to operate according to normal branch business hours

  • Our Customer Contact Center and ITM Bankers will be available on their regular schedule of Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and Saturdays from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM

It's simple to do the following banker-assisted transactions at any drive-up or walk-up ITM during business hours (certain limitations apply to Passbook Savings accounts and cash withdrawals of $3,000 and over):

  • Make a safe deposit box payment

  • Transfer money between CB accounts

03.27.20: Customer Financial Relief

In recognition of the impact that our customers are experiencing or may experience in the months ahead, Centreville Bank will be implementing the following measures effective Saturday, March 28, 2020 to help ease financial burdens during this time.
 
Please be aware we will be doing our best to implement these changes as quickly as possible, but should you incur any of the fees below within the dates listed, please contact us directly and we will gladly assist you.

Residential Loans

  • Late charges will be waived through June 30, 2020 on Residential Mortgages, Home Equity Loans and Home Equity Lines of Credit that are not more than 30 days past due.
     
  • Loan modifications will be available. Customers can opt for a 90-day payment deferral and  choose to continue to pay escrow or defer escrow payments until end of the 90-day period (which will result in an increased payment obligation).   • The Small Business Administration (SBA) and other federal and state organizations are offering loan assistance programs to help businesses of all sizes and across all industry sectors. Our commercial representatives are monitoring these programs and the rapidly evolving economic backdrop. We will help our customers determine the loan or assistance program that best fits their particular situation.

03.18.20: An Important Notice from Centreville Bank

Our goal is to protect the health and well-being of our customers and employees while still allowing for banking services to be conducted on a regular basis. With this in mind, effective tomorrow, March 19th, we will be making some changes to how our branches will service our customers.

  1. Our West Warwick and Coventry branches have implemented measures to assure proper social distancing of customers and are admitting a limited number of individuals inside the building at one time when necessary to complete a transaction.
     
  2. All other branch locations will remain open normal during business hours but will switch to drive-up service until further notice. Should you need to conduct business that cannot be completed via the drive-up (safe deposit box access, etc.), you can call to make an appointment with a banker at these locations which are listed below:

03.12.20: Health & Safety Precautions at Centreville Bank

As the impact of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) continues to be felt both globally and in our local communities, Centreville Bank would like to share some of the steps we have taken to ensure the safety of our customers and employees as well as to maintain our facilities.

  • All Centreville Bank employees have been instructed to wash their hands regularly throughout the day and to remain home if they are sick or experience any symptoms of illness
     
  • Additional hand-sanitizing stations, cleaning supplies and anti-bacterial soaps have been distributed in our facilities for employee use
     
  • We have coordinated with our vendors to ensure that all surfaces are being cleaned in our branches and offices on a nightly basis
     
  • A Business Continuity Plan is in place so that the Bank remains prepared to respond to the situation as it continues to evolve

We also ask that our customers use their best judgment when it comes to their well-being and to be considerate of others if visiting our facilities.
