Centreville Bank Celebrates Grand Opening of First Full-Service Branch in Middletown, Rhode Island

Charitable Foundation awards grants to Newport Mental Health and the MLK Community Center

West Warwick, RI (December 16, 2025) – Centreville Bank celebrated the grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony of its first full-service branch in Middletown, Rhode Island, located at 160 East Main Road. The new branch is the Bank’s first ground-up construction project since 2020 and represents a significant milestone in Centreville Bank’s continued growth and investment across Rhode Island.

The Middletown branch offers a full suite of banking services, including a state-of-the-art banking center, drive-up teller and ITM lanes, private offices for financial consultations, and a welcoming lobby designed with customer experience at the forefront.

As part of the celebration, the Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation presented grants to Newport Mental Health and the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (MLK Center) in Newport. These contributions will support essential mental health services and programs addressing food insecurity on Aquidneck Island.

Heather Strout, Executive Director of the MLK Community Center, emphasized the significance of the Foundation’s support, saying “We are grateful to have Centreville Bank moving into Middletown. Thanks to their support, we can provide hunger relief, health and wellness, community enrichment, and educational programs that keep Newport County strong.
