(WEST WARWICK, R.I.)  April 10, 2023 – Centreville Bank President, CEO, and Chairman of the Board Harold M. Horvat announced today the opening of its new branch office located at 473 Putnam Pike in Smithfield, R.I. The new branch brings the number of the bank’s Rhode Island locations to 12 and the total number of locations across Rhode Island and eastern Connecticut to 19. 

“We are excited to open our newest branch in Smithfield,” said Horvat. “We are proud to serve our new northernmost location and contribute to this vibrant community.” 

Centreville’s new branch is staffed to provide a full suite of personal and business banking products and services to customers. The branch follows the bank’s “universal banker” customer-service model which enables all staff to support the range of customer banking needs. 

The branch also features ATM/ITM (interactive teller machines) with video chat capability and walk-up and drive-up access. Set in a shopping plaza, where the old Benny’s store used to be, there is ample parking adjacent to the building.
