Centreville Bank Surpasses $2 Million in Charitable Giving and Strong Employee Volunteer Commitment in 2025

Latest $658,000 Grant Round Supports 33 Local Organizations Across Rhode Island and Connecticut

West Warwick, RI (January 12, 2026) — Centreville Bank announced today its 2025 community impact achievements, including surpassing $2 million in annual giving, including in donations and scholarships, through its Charitable Foundation and more than 5,000 volunteer service hours contributed by employees, demonstrating a strong commitment to supporting local communities.

The year concluded with the Charitable Foundation’s final 2025 grant round, awarding $658,000 to 33 local nonprofit organizations addressing critical needs. Highlights include $100,000 to support a mobile food pantry in Central Falls and $25,000 for talent development programming at the University of Rhode Island, supporting education and workforce development.

Throughout 2025, Centreville Bank distributed $2 million in grants, sponsorships, and college scholarships, focusing on its three charitable priorities: education, economic security, and capacity building. These investments reflect Centreville Bank’s dedication to addressing the unique needs of the communities it serves.
