Centreville Bank President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Harold M. Horvat, announced today that Heather Berard has been named branch manager at Centreville’s Narragansett branch and Corinn Charlsen has been named branch manager at the East Greenwich branch.
As branch managers, both women will be responsible for the development and overall direction of their branches. They will oversee branch operations, work to build rapport within their communities and ensure their branches meet designated goals and objectives.

As we continue to evolve and expand, it’s important that we place people in positions to fully take advantage of their skillsets. With their excellent financial backgrounds, management and customer relationship experience, Heather and Corinn will help us enhance the quality service and product offerings we are so proud of.”
Berard’s experience in sales and the financial services industry spans some 22 years. She has worked in retail banking and wealth management for the last six years, most recently serving as a select banker at Santander Bank in Wakefield where she was ranked as a top producing banker in the New England market in 2018. Prior to that, she held the position of licensed banker for Citizens Bank/CCO Investment Services in East Greenwich.
She earned certifications from the Financial Industry Regulatory Industry Authority (FINRA) in Series 6 and Series 63 and holds insurance licenses in health, accident and life insurance. Originally from Glendale, AZ, Berard currently resides in Narragansett, RI, with her two daughters.
Charlsen began her career at Centreville Bank in 2014 as a bank teller and has held various positions of increasing responsibility since then. Most recently she was retail operations supervisor at the East Greenwich branch where she assisted the branch manager and supervised day-to-day operations of the bank, assisted customers with opening of accounts and loan preparation, and actively participated in the community on behalf of the bank, among other responsibilities.
She holds an Associate Degree in Accounting from the Community College of Rhode Island where she was a member of the Kappa Beta Delta Honor Society. She currently resides in Voluntown, CT.
