Centreville Bank President, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman, Harold M. Horvat, announced today that Mary Murphy has been named branch manager at Centreville’s East Greenwich branch.
In her role as branch manager, Murphy is responsible for new business development and overall direction of the branch, overseeing branch operations and customer service, working to build rapport within the community, and ensuring the branch meets designated goals and objectives.
Murphy joined Centreville in 2011. She previously served as branch manager of the Bank’s North Kingstown office and operations manager. Prior to joining Centreville, she was an assistant branch manager for BankNewport.
“Mary is an invaluable member of the Centreville Bank team and has extensive expertise in retail banking, operations and community relations,” said Horvat. “As we continue to expand our branch network, including the recent additions of the Cranston Rolfe Square office and the Warwick office, we’re strategically placing our experienced branch managers in various locations throughout Rhode Island, while hiring new talent as well.”
Murphy serves on the advisory boards of the North Kingstown Food Pantry and the Academy of Business and Finance at North Kingstown High School. She resides in North Kingstown, RI.
