As you may have heard in the news yesterday, Equifax announced they have had a cybersecurity incident which has potentially impacted half of US consumers. Rest assured that this breach is in no way connected to us as a financial institution.
Will this breach affect me?
Equifax has established a dedicated website (https://www.equifaxsecurity2017.com/) where we encourage you to go to receive additional information and determine if you were impacted. Please note you will be prompted to enter your last name and last 6 digits of your social security number. If it is determined that your information has been compromised, the site will advise you to enroll in TrustedID Premier which Equifax is using to provide free identity theft protection and credit file monitoring to all consumers.
