The Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation was established as a non-profit charitable organization in 2006 by the Board of Trustees to further the philanthropic mission of Centreville Bank.

The Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation's goal is to partner with local non-profit organizations that work to strengthen, grow, and contribute to the well-being of the communities that we serve. We invest in a way that engages our employees; promoting progress and prosperity across Rhode Island. The Foundation provides financial support through in-kind contributions and grants. Our employees support the community through volunteer efforts. They provide manpower and talent to make many of our sponsored community initiatives and events a success. The Foundation is focused on supporting community renewal efforts, affordable housing initiatives and programs that serve low to moderate income individuals with a focus on health and human services.

The Centreville Bank Charitable Foundation has established the following guidelines for grant requests:

  • A brief description of the organization's mission, history, and accomplishments

  • Fraternal or Alumni Organizations
  • Individuals or programs that benefit specific individuals
  • Political Organizations
  • Religious Organizations (some secular community service programs such as soup kitchens and shelters are eligible, even when sponsored by religious organizations
